@XxAbsolutRaverxX Forced induction vehicles require more exhaust flow that the stock piping doesn't provide. My stock exhaust manifold, cats & Y-pipe all had to go, and be replaced with bigger 2.5 & 3inch piping. My downpipes are where my stock cats use to be. Each turbo is connected to a Greddy exhaust manifold, one end of each downpipe is connected to the back of the turbos, the other end of the downpipes connect to a 3inch Y-pipe that connects to my AAM single ti exhaust!

@firefoxdrive What is the purpose of changing the downpipe? Is that the section between the headers and the cats?
XxAbsolutRaverxX 10 months ago
@XxAbsolutRaverxX no cats/not sure about downpipes on a non turbo z. you could do test pipes or high flow cats

Cats or no cats? Can you put downpipes on a non turbo z?

@grouchycactai THANKS!! Talk to the guys at AAM Competition, they can make it happen. Sound mostly comes from the wastgates that open to the atmosphere and the single exhaust.
