if there are smart people running the cbc there's no reason that they shouldn't be able to turn it into a profitable public/private partnership perhaps sacrificing only minimal programming. The CBC just needs to find the right revenue sources. am i being naive? Perhaps there are issues with content creators themselves, they should be looking for the best ways to entertain people while bringing them educational and thoughtful content.
