May the wind take you troubles away...trying to make it far enough to the next time zone...switching over to AM searching for a truer sound. This is the ultimate road music. Good god, I wish I were on the road right now with this music pumping from my speakers.

Bands like Son Volt, Jayhawks, Wilco, Old 97s- these bands captured a sound, time and place that still sounds so relevant and smart. Great writing and talented, understated players. Miss those guys!
"switchin' over to AM, trying to find a truer sound" is probably the best line I've ever heard anyone write in a song!
