@TheMickeyboy1 Dont let these people stress you out. You know what you know and surely it must've been an honor to have known her and been friends with her. I dreamt of the day we could sit and talk and finally we Tweeted together on Twitter and I was just elated the rest of the week. Keep your memories sacred.

I have White friends who don't try to act Black even though they appreciate our culture, music, etc. Teena was Teena and I never thought for a moment she was trying to sing like a Black person. if you are deep, in whatever you do, it will come out real. There are some posers around in both races. She wasn't one of em.

for the last time. i never said i thought she was black. i said i did not know her mother was white. tvone. you took a clip from 2 on the town which you got from me, then spliced it with a clip from unsung 2 create a falsehood. i was 9yrs old when i met lady, n 12 when i 1st saw her mother. i actually thought lady was italian or latina. i was sayn we were like kind n music, so color never was an issue. these clips are out of context.

Yeah; is it true she has never been honored at an award show with a plaque? Well, she is a gem with or without. I am happy Unsung has stepped up.
