the elusive "tumblers today" skill book in fallout 3. The "Gary"vault (108) has a skill book that is neigh impossible to get.
Well, we got it. Through the judicious use of high explosives.
Try this at home! :D

Confirming it! It worked first try! Crapped my pants when I threw the 2nd bottlecap mine and it went off while I was standing over the other mines, but getting that book made the crippled limbs well worth it...

Confirmed working! Put some 30 mines and detonated with a frag, the book was then accessible!

wow i did this with just 10 mines and a frag. it ended up on the other side of the crates.

Thanks man! This worked for me. The book was on the actually on top of the ladder after I tried this.

lol Success on the first attempt using your method of 15 mines. It even landed standing up still beneath the ladder but reachable.

I must have spent like 2 hours of endless frag grenades to get this, then I searched for videos and found this one. SOOOOO... I grabbed 122 frag mines, 42 Bottlecap Mines, and placed them in the same spot as you guys did. Except I used a Mini-nuke, lol. The game made the worst screaming explosion sound ever, and it froze for 5 seconds, but it worked!!! Thanks SlickWulf =)

I don't know, never tried that. (also, sorry for taking forever to reply to your comment.. my PC died and I just never got around to getting a new one what with a phone that did almost everything my laptop could do)
