How consumerism is killing us

Consumer or producer which one are you consumer or producer? No consumer wants to be at the bottom of the food chain. Consumers that produce are far better off than consumers that just consume information for the sake of consuming information till they reach information overload and do nothing.

When you consume information you are learning and consuming information that you are supposed to act on many consumers don't act on information they just consume more and more information thinking that if they just consumed more information they would somehow get the answer the holy grail the big secret consumers need to act on what they learn.

Intelligent Producers of this valuable information know that consumers are generally not going to act on that information they just purchased. The difference between a consumer and a producer is the consumer doesn't use information they consume and a producer of information will act on the information they are consuming

Consumerism is great but you have to know when to stop consuming and start acting on what you already know..... otherwise you'll be allowing consumerism to kill you instead of empower you

this video is great!! its definitely important to not just take take take without giving back, like after consuming an ABUNDANCE of music sometimes i feel overwhelmed and feel like i'm taking in too much music, but then after playing music myself busking or to friends i definitely feel an equilibrium again
