Former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein gave his first formal testimony before the Iraqi Special Tribunal in Baghdad on Wednesday.

Speaking after his half-brother and co-defendant Barzan al-Tikriti, Hussein called the trial "a comedy," calling it "The comedy against Saddam and seven co-defendants."

The trial judge blocked access to the trial to citizens and press in order to discourage Hussein from making political speeches during the trial.

The next session of the trial will be held on April 5, three weeks from today.

Well I don't think Bush ever really wanted to wipe out a group of people, but still his reasons for some of the wars were pretty lame compared to what the real reasons were.
