  • Should the OUTSIDE braid on the coax cable be soldered to the ground on the hack board?

  • @wsx2000 Yes it should. By the way, you'll probably get quicker answers to questions if you post them in the RCModelReviews forums on the RCModelReviews website

  • This module also works for AM! I have done it with an old Ace Nautical Commander. Any PPM radio seems to work.

  • hi bruce, i bought this diy kit and i am happy with it and i am planning to upload here on youtube my process. anyway HK doesnt have any stock of the DSSS version, is there any other Rx that works with this? any suggestions? thank you.

  • Hey,

Thanks for this tip but does it also works with the Graupner fm 4014?

  • Very informative, I like it !

  • can it work on an AM, non ppm, radio with no trainer port?

  • Great informational video for the 2.4 conversion. The connector you made for the hack module, where did you get it? I have a JR SX600 I would like to convert and would like to connect the same way you did. Thanks

  • i have been told to rather keep my radio on 35mhz as the corona is not the best quality. I would love to buy a new 2,4 radio but don't have the money, Is it a better option to save for a proper radio i have a trex450 sport?

  • Thanks so much!

  • @wsx2000

    Thanks so much!
