Yes, Jerry's playing could be quite good up until Dec '94. During that month, Jerry went reef diving and he reported that his left arm got stung by a jelly fish. Then he slept on it funny and his doctor thought he did some serious nerve damage. JGB had to cancel a couple of shows at the time. Jerry never really recovered. Aside from his other health issues, was also suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome from years of playing. He gave us so much. See Dark Star: An Oral Biography.

Hey this is great!! and considering Jerrys health at the time he sounds pretty good!! Thank you for posting this!! Thankfully I got to see JGB 2xs and the GD 22xs all in the 90s wish i could have seen the dead in the 80s Iam a huge Brent fan!! I love 84 & 85 jerrys voice wasnt to good at times those two years but their playing was awesome!! I miss Jerry so much!! Would really enjoy a Grateful Dead or JGB show in this time in which we live! Thank God for utube and people posting this material!!!!
