Car Crash Next to NY Police Funeral: Part 1

A bizarre car crash occurred on March 4, 2011 twenty feet from hundreds of uniformed New York City police and transit officers gathered at the entrance of the Islamic Cultural Center on 96th Street and Third Avenue in New York. As the casket of an Islamic New York Police Transit Enforcement officer who died in a Brooklyn fire was being lowered into a hearse, a black taxi slammed into a white SUV, resulting in the SUV winding up completely on top of the taxi. Incredibly, no one was killed. Crash occurs off-camera after 1:06. Around 1:27, a passenger exits the right rear door of the taxi with a coat, looking like it's just another day in New York.
