My video about (theoretical) use of cobra maneuver during air combat.
This is my first (and last so far:) Lock-On video. I've created it in April 2006. It was only a one day job, so don't expect something extraordinary. It's simple and short.
I'm fully aware, that the use of Cobra is not very realistic. Please don't take this vid to seriously. I was only having some fun. :P

2 questions:
1- How did you get the R-73s not to collide in mid-air when firing them in salvo mode?
2- Very smooth gameplay. Is it editing? If not, what was the system you ran it at?

Great stuff. Good moves. Is there a way to re-play the mission after you crash, instead of Esc<quit and then waiting for it to load again. Thanks!

Not sure what do you mean by "replay the mission". Watch it or play it again? To watch the recorded track you have to quit, save it and load it. If you want to be back in the air, you have to mark in the options "permit the crash recovery", and after the crash press Esc, and then "RCVR" button. If I recall it correctly. cheers

If you can't find it in your local store (it's possible because it's an older game) you can always try ebay or online stores. Google more info about this game (e.g. wikipedia), the full name is: "Lock On: Modern Air Combat."

Do you prefer the su-33 to the su-27 generally or was it just for this demo?

Yeah I prefer Su-33 in Lock-On. I like carrier ops. ;)
