All that I have to say is- Let's flood the judicial system with cases from students suffering the injustices of broken/moot law enforcement. Let their silent voices be heard louder and stronger than those of xenophobia.
nicely done! i think you could add some more facts about the DreamAct so many people are against it because they think it would encourage more people to immigrate illegally (which is already a problem) and they also don't want people taking the spots in college that could be theirs the DreamAct only benefits those who have been in the US for at lease 5 years before its passage, so it would not encourage more illegal immigration.
Thanks for your comment. Many of the interviewees for the film talk about the Dream Act - so you'll see it in the feature length! We're editing now. . so not too long now before we share with the country. Best, The "Papers" Crew
Thanks for the comment. You're right that going to college is not legally prohibited (though if your presence and your ability to work are legally prohibited, it's pretty contradictory and limiting). But unfortunately, as far as we can tell, admission for undocumented students depends on each college's admission practices (often unspoken). We'd like to see more consistent policies that create access across all institutions. What do you think? Please share!.
I agree to the fact that there needs to be consistency throughout the education system on the admissions of these bright, deprived students. I have taken action on the subject, and helped form a committee: "Making The Dream Come True", or " Realizando El Sueño", here in the Southern Nevada region, connecting all High and Jr. High school students of the valley. I think that this year, we are going to make dreams a reality!
