I don't think she imitates Teresa. It's quite different from Teresa's version. But in general, her voice and singing techniques are similar to Teresa's. I like her even better. She should have deserved a lot more attention.

I think she was trying to imitate Teresa Teng's Cantonese singing, Teresa's native tongue was Mandarin so her Cantonese was not 100% accurate. Perhaps Cecilia Fong was paying tribute to Teresa by bending the Cantonese pronunciation a bit, just my guess :-)

Agreed, both her voice and her Cantonese sounded weird, but only in this concert. It was quite uncharacteristic, normally her Cantonese is very accurate.
Can you believe she was over 40 at that time? Looked so cute.
