"Isenseven" Snowboarding - ColourCorrection Test

Isenseven's videos are absolutely stunning. I used a small clip from their video "Euro Camp 2008" from http://www.isenseven.de to test colour correction in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. The RGB Colour Converter effect was used alongside an "RGB parade".

By me 'colour correcting' this clip, I am in no way saying that this clip was not properly colour corrected originally. I think that through the compression of the original video from the above website, a green bias was given. I leave full credit with Isenseven for their amazing work in making this original video.

how do you use the RGB parade? ive always wondered how it works. it'll help me up the quality of my videos which is good. hah, for now i've just been using procamp.

Hey - the RGB parade probably isn't something I could explain here, but, I can try help you out. When looking at the RGB parade, you'll see three sets of graphs, showing images that look like fishing nets. The RGB parade shows how your image is comprised of colours from left to right of the video image. I used the RGB parade to match up the whitest points of the image, being the snow, so that the colours were of a pure-white white-balance. I hope that helps!

Snow has a tint of blue in it making it not true white I was told to never white balance off snow
