Hey guys, this is Jan Schwarz and Thomas Paetow and THIS is our video for the Saatchi Project 2010!
There were many things in our mind, such as ideas of pictures or paintings, but finally we decided to make a song and a video...
As we started our project, we thought about the world itself and its winding roads...we thought of the world as a cruel hallucination, which spits out its mud on the streets of nowadays. There is a better world in our minds, but this is not the real world. The real world is not perfect and it is cruel sometimes, but there is hope to people, who think that the world is always bad. You are responsible for your own life and no one else is. If you want to blame someone for the bad things that happened, you have to blame yourself. Grab your life and choose the right path to make it go the right direction... Learn from your mistakes... This song shall help you and give you the strength showing you, that there is hope!
This is the main intention of our project, which needed almost one month to be finished. In the first week we wrote the lyrics and the main guitar part. In the second week we recorded the vocals and the guitar and later the piano, too. In the third week we began to record the video. We filmed a lot of places and situations from everyday life, so we had a big amount of video-material. The cutting was done in the fourth week, so we finished it just right on time. So have fun and enjoy it!
