I was in the lunch room last thursday. I decided to go to another table to eat since my normal circle was filled.

I go to the next table over and greet the black gentlemen at this particular table.

I extend my hand to greet these lovely folks and they look at me as if I was a leper.

Makes sense. The lunch room was scrambled that day so there were no reserved seats.

The student was actually quite introverted and I believe a bit self-reserved in the manner that he wouldn't talk to other people outside of a black circle.
