think iv only seen one princess on the road today i wander how the fuck the owner got the parts after all bl are long gone im just glad i haven seen a morris marina or a allegro

The suspension on the Pricness like most other Leyland cars of the time used the Hydragas system which really is supple enough to drive over a field at that speed without shaking the car to bits! The suspension and steering won't have suffered at all. The only suspension to do it better was the Citroen Hydropneumatic which cost about 10 times as much to make! No steel sprung car can come close to giving the same ride quality on both rough and smooth surfaces.

Bet the front suspension & steering rack needed replacing after that little jaunt...
