Laid-back western swing by crooner Tommy Duncan, former singer of Bob Wills and his Texas playboys. This was recorded in the 1950s after he'd quit the playboys.

  • My Mom told me for years that Tommy wrote this about the Southern Club in Lawton but later I learned in the write up about this album that he didn't write the song. I still remember the neon stars over the bar there even though I was only about 12 which was 56 years ago. I remember Tommy too. Of all the musicians who passed through the club, he was very special.
