Иде нашенската музика - БНТ.Любо Гъдулката,Пламен Димитров,Недялко Недялков и формация Фолк реАктор-"FOLK REACTOR" is an intriguing new formation, created with the idea of mixing music from different corners of the world and modern rock, jazz or funk elements. The founders of the group - LIUBOMIR GESHKOVSKI and JOHN LUJAN - met at a musicians' gathering in Germany. Soon after - near the end of 2008 - "Folk Reactor" had already been established. JOHN LUJAN is a well-known German guitar player. He mostly creates and plays rock music. LIUBOMIR GESHKOVSKI is a professional performer, composer and orchestrator of Bulgarian folk music. He graduated in gadulka from АМТИИ-Пловдив, and was apprenticed to the doyenne of gadulka in Bulgaria - Atanas Vultchev. For years Liubomir Geshkovski has looked for ways to master his instrument. He has established some innovations and an instrument emerged which he playfully calls a "tsi-gadulka**". As well as founding the formation, these two musicians create the impressive and beautiful compositions of "Folk Reactor". The combination of such highly contrasting styles as folk music (mostly Bulgarian but also German, American, Gypsy) and modern popular styles contributes to that the pieces sound like a musical jest. Elegantly weaved in every composition, this struggle of the opposites intrigues and raises the mood. The rest of the musicians: RUMEN SOFIANSKI - bass guitar, accordion and keyboards Graduated in composition and instrumental class for accordion at АМТИИ-Пловдив. DIMO FILIPOV - guitar Founder of the north-western music company „СеВеКом. He has worked with various popular and rock formations. PLAMENA GESHKOVSKA - accordion and keyboards An АМТИИ-Пловдив graduate. DIANA IVANOVA - guitar (tambourine) Musician at heart. FILIP GRIGOROV percussion instruments The youngest member of the formation. Graduated the musical school in Vratsa. The formation's repertoire also includes Bulgarian folk music with a significantly more modern sound, and also collaborative appearances with guest-performers - instrumentalists, as well as singers.
