@jakesaintsrow123 It was but still it wasn't a soild state car like the Malibu was and besides the point, and besides the point that malibu was a boat compared to the celebrity. You know when celebrity came out cars were starting to get cheap. Many cars weren't built with heavy metal frames anymore. Anyway the only I thing I like about the celebrity is the way the fuel ecconmy is. Its reliable on gas, the malibu was a gas gussler.

@regency98us Yea I second that I would have picked the Malibu over the celeberity myself. The Celeberity looks like a piece of shit. I never really liked them I would pick the 76 Malibu because that car is like a boat with pounds of metal. But I do like alot of front wheel drive cars from the 80s.

@regency98us except the planned obsolescence engineered into the cars made them fall apart in 5 years - by design! This is the very real issue they have had to overcome over the last 30 years. Deming tried to tell them, and nobody listened - except for Japan......

this is very creepy

Well thats a hoot.... GM downing its 1976 Malibu by making it look like it didnt last until the 80s. I would have picked that Malibu over any other early 80s small front wheel drive car!
