I know that performance; it is great! He also was a terrific opera conductor; IMO, his hair-raisingly exciting PAGLIACCI is the best, and he also conducted a great FANCIULLA DEL WEST. This Beethoven 2 Finale is solid as a rock and sounds authentically Beethovenian.
