Slideshow with images from the recording of Placebo's last disc, "Meds" where Michael Stipe joins the band in a song called "Broken promise". I added a minute of the song to the original slideshow, it was a little boring without it. Original at: http://www.placeboworld.co.uk/

I'm a fan of REM and some mounths ago I started to listen Placebo! Both groups are greeeat! And I thought what if they would sing something together..... :) But only today I heard this song! sooo stipe + placebo = fantastic!! yes and pity they don't do it live ;(
Although I like both singers (Michael Stipe's the best singer ever, for sure!), I'm not really a fan of this song. I rather like Michael Stipe singing together with Eddie Vedder, performing Man On The Moon.
wow thanks for that insightful piece of information. taking a piece of my criticism and throwing it back at me shows to me that you are a very articulate and imaginative individual.
