Honda C71
The Honda Dream Touring 250 C71 was also called the CA71 was a 247cc 4-stroke motorcycle manufactured by Honda from 1959 through 1960. Four colors were available: White, Black, Blue, and Scarlet Red.

The CA71 had chrome tubular handlebars while the C71 had pressed steel handlebars. The bike had solid chrome tank panels with no rubber knee pads. The headlight was square. The engine was a parallel twin with a dry sump and OHC displacing 247cc. The transmission was a 4-speed

CE71 Dream Sport 250
The CE71 Dream Sport 250 was sold from 1959 to 1960 in two available colors: Silver with Black or Silver with Maroon. The headlight was square with an integrated speedometer. The Gas tank was silver with a black rubber pad. The fenders, frame, side cover, fork, and headlight were either black or maroon. The early models had 18" wheels while the late models had 16-inch wheels. The engine was a 247cc OHC dry sump parallel twin. It had a single carburetor. The transmission was a 4-speed.

C72 Dream Touring 250
The C72 Dream Touring 250 was sold in 1961 in four available colors: White, Black, Blue, or Scarlet Red. The headlight was square with an integrated speedometer. The gas tank had a large chrome panel and large rubber pads. The handlebars were pressed steel. The engine was a 247cc OHC wet sump parallel twin with a single carburetor and a 4-speed transmission.

CA72 Dream Touring 250
The CA72 Dream Touring 250 was released in two editions. The Early model was sold from 1960 to 1963 (the late model was sold from 1963 to 1966). The early model came in one of four colors: White, Black, Blue, or Scarlet Red. The headlight was square with an integrated speedometer. The gas tank shape was the same as the C71 without the rubber pad. The gas tank was smaller than the early CA77. The engine was a 247cc OHC wet sump parallel twin with a single carburetor and a 4-speed transmission.

CA72 Dream Touring 250 Late
The CA72 Dream Touring 250 "Late" was sold from 1963 to 1966. Like the early model it came in one of four colors: White, Black, Blue, or Scarlet Red. The gas tank was englarged to the size of the late CA77. The engine was a 247cc OHC wet sump parallel twin with a single carburetor and a 4-speed transmission.

  • front fender are easily crumples, henced the chopped fronts... seats are clean on that bike though

  • This was my first bike,(mine was red). I bought it in the summer of 1980 for $200. I wish I still had it.

  • It seems that the chopped front fender was not uncommon among the high school set "back in the day " often removing the ft fender was a cool look too.Remove the mufflers /maybe change the seat .Poor quality home done color changes with spray can paint .Mostly to the 305 dreams yes scottyy 250s were rare Oh the 1970's the things we did !?!
