People fail to realize that Tyson's demise began when his mentor and trainer Cus dimato died followed by his manager jimmy Jacobs. Both men looked after Tyson and kept him in line. When they died he married Givins and the the decline began...with drugs and alcohol. If these two men were alive a few more years Tyson should have been one of the top 5 heavyweights of all time

I still hold that Tyson's chin was 'questionable' - to say it was weak is probably too extreme. The evidence for this is the ease to which he was dropped in many of his latter fights and his own reluctance to trade punches in the close ups. Many of the fights Tyson took hard shots did not go the distance. When a fighter is warm it is the cumulative impact of punches that breaks them down- not just one blow. I think a part of it is also his lack of will to take punishment and that's crucial.

@HussamStands dude watch joe fraizer and foreman's fights and tysons. There is a clear difference in power and speed both going to tyson. In my opinion he is the best puncher i have ever seen at heavyweight. muhammid ali is no doubt one of toughest ever mentally, but im not sure if that would matter getting hit by that.

@johnsammyanfal questionable jaw? there are alot of things you can say about tyson, but that is not one of them just watch his fights. Bruno,Rudock,holyfield, all really good punchers who landed major shots on him. As far as his skills go hes an example of getting to good to fast and getting bored. that and firing rooney are why he declined. tyson from 87 to 91 would of steamrolled tyson.
