shame these are so expensive making them a bit exclusive..there aught to be goverment funds so that every school kid got one of these or at least had chance to spend some time with them from a young age..I'm pretty sure the we would be a slightly happier race of creatures as a result..I'm no mystic minded hipster btw..i'm a realist with a real soul the same as everything else

@ 123poan123: I play 13 note spacedrum, love it. i was able to try bali and hang as well [jam]. each are unique and sound a bit different, i find spacedrum has a 'bright' sound. though i only play less than a year with mine, i suggest since its larger, some notes you may want to play are far away so practicing slow first, with them.

I was thinking about buying a 8 note or a 6 note Spacedrum but went for the Bali. A spacedrum and a zentambour are stil on my wishinglist though. Stil not sure to go for a 6 or 8 note...

Beautiful playing ! This is the 13th note chromatic spacedrum yes? I just ordered one and it will be my first handpan! Sounds great, very excited to receive it. Any advice, opinions regarding the spacedrum in comparison to other handpands? It cost me 1800 dollars and i have never played one before reading some reviews i feel like maybe i should have got a bali steel but i am in love with the spacedrum so i don't feel i will regret this at all!
