  • Is that guitar by any chance a Galager? (or however it's spelled)

  • @C14cinema The guitar is made by Tacoma.

  • You don't need a capo to play any song. The only purpose of a capo is to switch between keys to suit your voice. This guy has a good enough voice to sing in a lower key (no capo), nothing wrong with that. Trust me, it sounds the same to you right now as the studio version would. Try humming the studio version right now. I doubt you can.

  • Nice version, nice and steady. Love the way you play the bit at 36 seconds, not seen it played like that before.

  • Really beautiful =)

  • @mtreed55 The album/live version is capoed at the first fret, and is therefore a half step up from this

  • Great stuff mate. Keep posting.

  • Just poasted my own cover of this song, as a video response... How d'you get so many thousands of hits, man?

  • Great job - I enjoyed it!

  • Very well done. I know on alot of their songs that Simon capps his guitar a few fretts up. Do you know if he originally wrote the song in G or is it in another chord. Some artist sing in the wierdest of chords like the beautiful voice of Patsy Cline. She seldom sang in a major...alot of sharps/minors.flats

Thanks for the compliment, but none of those are me. I haven't posted any yet. I just favorited that video. good luck. :)

Maybe in four years I will be able to play like that
