If I awoke one night in a haze to someone beating down my door, my instinct would be too shoot them. Of course I would be shot just for protecting my home.
Police could just as easily wait for the resident to come out or give them ample time to respond to the police. Such a terrible thing like this could be totally avoided if police simply gave the home owner a reasonable amount of time to answer the door.

USSA is now a police state. I met a 25 cop who makes over 125,000 per year. Less than 1% of the population makes over 75,000 per year. When we pay police that much we are asking for trouble. They will cause crime to keep their high paying jobs.

A&E filmed this with 5 cameras for "The First 48" series. The police are lying. There was no struggle that made a firearm "accidentally" discharge. The officer threw grenades and immediately shot through the window at the girl from on the porch.
