  • totally. scriabin LOVED that sort of stretches.

s4ud4de: not quite sure whether too much rubato would destroy the flow of that piece. i tried so, no convincing result yet =)

  • you are concentrating too much on the left hand.

  • I thought it was very good. I am trying 3 play this too and it's soooooo hard!

  • The end is speeded up?

  • I'm learning this piece and it's so difficult I can't even believe it. My left hand isn't long enough for around the last part and it's so annoying lol. But you played it very well. It's gonna take some time to get myself to your level -.- I have a bad habit to take pauses a bit longer than what it's supposed to be and I will have to fix that :\

  • john, this piece is pretty diffucult to learn. the left hand has huge jumps, that are difficult to play correctly with legato. And theres also alot of 2 against 3 in this piece which is tricky to master. Also you mite not notice but in the begining and end, the hands cross and might be a little confusing at first but then will be played automitcaly. as for the pianst, please try to put in some more rubato, and the bass shouldent be banged, it should be deeply pressed. thanks

  • It's interesting to me how you play the finale with both hands instead of the right hand as an octave =) Great performance, I love it. How hard was this piece to learn? I've learned a prelude by Rachmaninoff, two nocturnes by Chopin, a Debussy Arabesque, and a Beethoven sonata.

  • Pretty good :)

I'd say maybe take it a little bit faster, try to get the notes a little big more secure, and not exaggerate the climax at the end too much. It was a bit too extreme - the accelerando isn't really even marked until the ending passage just a few measures before the end.

    All in all pretty good.

  • me llamo arthur y te admiraba secretamente pero ahora lorevelo te amo

  • P.P.S. To be clear, I'm referring to douchebaggery in the comments made by other users on your video's page...nothing that you said.

  • The tempo acceleration at the end is a touch over-the-top, considering how calmly you approach the piece until that point. All in all, a nice performance.

P.S. What's with all the douchebaggery in your comments?
