From September 6, 1977. A Tuesday night, no less! Attendance: 69,093. This was during an exciting period for Montreal sports, with the Als and Expos both moving to the Big O, which hosted that year's Grey Cup, and the Canadiens taking another Stanley Cup. All three teams' games were televised by the CBC, along with the GC and Stanley Cup Playoffs. And yeah, I know all about K-Tel and those compilation albums where 20 songs were shoehorned onto one record. Lyrics and verses had to be edited out.
