Some years ago...I'm not precisely sure how many...I rented a video camera for the weekend and went to the Free Festival at Stonehenge to shoot some footage for posterity.

Today is yesterday's posterity.

'StonehengeReunited' is, for me, an opportunity to share some of what I saw and experienced over those few days.

I don't recall many details but I am sure I was there.
I would like to hear from anyone who remembers it.

In the footage that I shot are quite a few faces. Perhaps you recognize yourself? Or a friend of yours who you're still in contact with?

I would like to interview and video anyone who was there and post the results here.

  • dirty naked hippies oh my!

  • Mr pooponit talking of destroying the land the reason they shut this festival down was because they needed the land so they could concrete over it to build a new car park.

  • this is nasty. a bunch of dirty hippies on drugs running around naked wacked out of their minds, listening to terrible music and thinking they are indians. how the hell did i get here! Oh i know, it was after looking at how much these festivals destroy the land and how the people just leave all their trash behind.

  • i dunno why but this makes me wanna have a little cryee...but then the last impression of this is that bloke's knob right at the end...oh well

  • Yeah, I remember Sid from '76 at the Henge. I attended a meeting when we were trying to blockade the police vans from driving recklessly around the kids. Utilising the peaceful destruction of constabulary property and naked ladies running around with police helmets on their heads. I was 16 or 17. Sid asked me who I was. I still ask that question when I've got time. He fought for love, peace and land. RIP dude.

  • r.i.p Sid~ this video was posted on Sid Rawles birthday

  • Hi, I was there, but can't find myself on the videos, I remember back then I would avoid cameras because of Thatcher and the so called 'police', who were about in plain clothes taking pictures too....

  • hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :-)))
