My nine 8-week-old chicks in my front yard. They are all pullets (young hens) and are pets kept for their eggs and cuteness. They live in the red and white A-frame coop and love to free-range outside when I'm there to keep an eye on them. All of them are bantams (small breeds) except for the large Ameraucana. They are very sweet and look out for each other, and they don't pick on each other or show aggression to lower-ranking chicks. The big ones take care of the little ones. I am very proud of them and could not ask for a better flock.

The different breeds are:
2 Ameraucanas/Easter Eggers
1 Buff Brahma
1 Partridge Cochin
1 Black Sumatra
1 Silver Sebright
1 Barred Rock Bantam
1 Blue Silkie
1 Old English Game Hen
