Megan Meier Tribute

A Tribute to the 13 year old girl who comitted suicide over a myspace hoax set up by her neighbor and the neighbors mother.

On October 16th 2006 Megan Meier hanged herself in her closet.

Were there only more we could do than make tributes to Megan... whoever coined the adage about sticks and stones was more wrong than they could have imagined. I visited Megan's grave weekend before last while visiting friends near the St. Louis area and left a journal with a poem I had written to her. It pains me that something like that is all I can do.
