Is this song in the film at all, or on the DVD, anywhere? I watched the movie and at the very end I was like, "WHERE's THE BEST FREAKING SONG FROM THE PLAY AT?!?"

hear are the facts. Tim and Sondheim said they recorded it in the studio and after hearing it both decided it didn't fit a movie version of the film.. to theatrical and they wanted to show us the story not tell us it.
And Filming didn't stop when Depp was with his daughter, they shot scenes he wasn't in.
(according to Tim and Richard)
Both Burton and Sondheim have cleared theses 'rumors'

@Feliscar Actually it IS in the movie, but only instrumental. You can hear fragments of the song different places in the movie. The "Intro" of the movie is basically the song, just without vocals.

The one person who disliked this video was Judge Turpin! Also... Has anyone noticed that if you switch the "n" and "p" in Turpin it spells Turnip? Good video, almost perfectly matched.
