This is the overview of CyanogenMod 9 (CM9) on Samsung Galaxy S i9000
It's yet to get CM special features like T-Mobile theme engine, toggle buttons in the notification bar, cyanogen mod special settings and all that -- which is why it hasn't been labeled as CM9 yet officially -- but it's still a cool Android 4.0 ICS port.
The integration with CM settings, mods and tweaks should happen soon, and it won't take much time before it's called CM9 officially.

I'm using it atm and actually considering it's alpha I'm pretty impressed. Although there seems to be a major bug in quadrant standard with the cpu test. it's downright low but it doesn't feel that way in day-to-day use. actually, images are loaded much faster than on cm7.

I have Build 16 up and running. Expect better battery life, better performance and several bug fixes. Trebuchet launcher has added some features too! I like that! || For the people who can not run the Samsung Apps store, there is a .zip file on XDA Developers somewhere. I have it installed on my SGS and it runs perfectly!
