We caught KC's play here three days running as he notched a deuce each day. He dismantled this notoriously demanding hole en route to a record setting victory. This is a tidbit from a recent Disc Golf Live video magazine episode.

  • Damn dude, you are a beast.

  • champion eagle has his signature...I have two of em...but my first disc I ever bought was a champion eagle...I picked it based on who had the most championships...he had 11 at the time now he has twelve..love the disc only problem is its green...lose sight on it all the the time... ; |

  • @mercilpb Definitely It is callable but, calling any rule violation is going against our anti-snitch culture it seems. This is a silly rule for me any way, as being in the air doesn't improve accuracy. Just don't go past your mini is how I'd state it.

  • @Finnhawc My friend explained to me that you are, in fact, correct. But in a good jump putt your disc releases almost at the same time you take off, its such a difficult thing to judge that the rule, as it currently exists, is pretty much unenforcable. Even the putt in question is borderline at best, It'd probably take slow motion to know for sure, after watching it dozens of times I'm actually leaning towards legal. So there.

  • @mercilpb

A laughable response as you are exactly wrong. The rules states that you must release the disc BEFORE you leave the ground. You must always have a contact point on the ground before you release the disc no matter how far away from the basket you are. You need to read the rule book, again.

  • @Finnhawc The friday put was legal. On every putt there is a circle that sits at exactly 10 meters away from the pole. Outside of this circle, KC's jump putt is perfectly legal. You must start your "jump" behind your disc marker, and release the disc before your feet contact the ground agian. It is only inside the 10 meter circle that your front foot must stay in contact with the ground, behind your disc marker, all the way through your putting motion. Read the rule book

  • Great video thanks for posting.

  • Notice the Friday putt is quite illegal as KC is in the air before he releases the disc. Nice putt though, eh?
