Theres nothing like us girls taking time off work every year just to go to Tippy. We prepare for it all year. Most girls like purses shoes and makeup for xmas we say husbands give us Fishing gear lol. Thanks for posting the videos, we plan on getting alot this year ourselves. We took a trip up to buy a camper over the weekend and guess what? The Tunk will be closed in august of 2012 for camping if you camp or know someone that does you might want to let them know... FISH ON!!!

When my mother found out that she was sick from breast cancer she begged us to come and experience what shed been doing every year for 20 plus years.. Every year shed ask and we said no thank you mom we( we being 3 girls) pass. Well in 04 we finally decided to go and fell in love. Weve been going every year since, we even go for hunting season mostly to hang out with are friends at the campground. This is 2011 moms still sick but she says as long as shes alive take her to TIPPY DAM.. Great video

@polhuk I've been fishing for years. One time, i was fishing at a channel, and i caught a HUGE largemouth and thought it was the right size to cook, so, i measured it on my fishing boat, and here's what i got, 13 and a half inches. I was SO disipointed. The next day I had a bite, and I thought it was another bass. Well, it was a carp, and it snapped my line, and I had to swim to get the bobber in that yukky muck. The reason I had a bobber was because im more of a calm, lake kinda guy, you know?
