  • Sorry, I would not recommend a R6 as a first bike, your guna =*( when you drop it

  • Yeah, I wouldn't recommend it as a first.. but if people are already set on getting a 600 then I'm glad if they at least choose the R6 :-)

Personally, I started on a ninja 250 and I'm glad I did for the reason you stated :-D

  • Great video. Good tips! I think the biggest one would be going to a safety class first, even before the license and such because they teach you everything. Mindset, motor skills, awareness, etc. But yeah I agree with being aware is another big one because half the time people aren't paying attention to you. Also don't drive in the middle of the lane. That's a personal one cause I don't think I'm visible enough if I'm behind the car in the middle of the lane. Why no HD? haha keep up safe riding!

  • I definitely agree! A lot of people forgo the safety class. To me, I think that was one of the best investments I made towards myself and my bike.

  • Celsius Tannery?

You mean it contradicted itself, not a double negative.

  • i want a bike

  • sorry, thumbs down...i didnt learn much here

  • Illinois has free msf classes

  • Hey Spunky!

I'm about 2 months away from getting my first bike, and I'm totally getting an R6.

The Safety Course I'm taking is actually a month long, and you use Ninja 250r's for the whole thing.

Do you think that's good enough for me to buy the R6 afterwards?

  • @videoman223 They might be like CBRs in that they are both on only when the rider has his brights on. With just the low beams though only one side is on.

  • Good info. Thanks

  • DON"T SIT IN BLIND SPOTS :)

  • On R1's and R6's I see them usually with only 1 light on, why is this?

Is it just burnt out? I"ve seen it so many times.

  • Hi just asking your educated opinion - I'm currently on a learner Yamaha DTR 125 and about to pass my bike test; I'm looking at a GSXR400 or a VFR400, ok option or should I get a smaller sportsbike first?

    Thanks
