AAAAAAAAN. -
@yomammascan one time i was on amazon.com and i found the entire gatchaman f series, not gatchaman, gatchaman fighter from the first to the last, and i think it was in japanese with english subs. but, i did not buy it because it was OVER $1000!!!!! no really it was $1000. whoever was trying to sell it, obviously did not know no one these days could afford it in this economy. for a box set, it was expensive. anyways thanks for replying.

since 'Battle of the Planets' was the edited version, owing to the tighter regulations of the 1970s, Number One's name probably is Ace and not Ken - although i much prefer the earlier names.

I am from Central America my country name is Nicaragua , I saw G force since I was a kid , and I love them, for me any race is the same before the God eye's and I believe there is a super heroe in every human at least in our imagination but Gatchaman is international heroes . Don't put attention to the people who believe better to another people just for the color of the skin

is it true that g force's story line is the same as the japan version? i heard the battle of the planets was edited and g force was not. i wish they would have sticked with the japan storyline (his name is ken the hawk not ace)

I get what thecpoc is saying. The characters in anime are very generic looking, therefore you can argue for days whether they look asian or white. In reality, it's impossible to find a Live Action actor that looks exactly like an anime character, because anime characters have extremely general features.
So yea, you'll associate them with whatever the "Norm" is to you. It's all relative to the person watching it.

i say there white
well that is how most white people view us....maybe we should view them how japanese people view them...clumsy balding fat people-

Is there a reason why you think any statement you disagree with is automatically "stupid"? If you honestly think that these characters look European and cannot in any way, shape, or form be Japanese... then tell me why that is. I'm Asian and to me they look Asian. These characters can be of pretty much any race except those of people with dark skin. They're drawn to be pretty much devoid of race. What, do you want them to have slits for eyes and buck teeth before you think they look Asian?
