Interesting that this is New York. And in the 80s NY was still the weakest area for actual wrestling. And here this stuff is weak. Yet look at the Verne Gagne matches vs Wilber Snyder, Bastien, Goelz. Thats wrestling

Actually, Rocca was 49, just shy of his 50th birthday, and died in 1977. My error.

Cigarillos, maybe?...Rocca was a fine athlete who changed the sport considerably with his high-flying' techniques.
Unfortunately, he died young in 1965. Perhaps only 47?
