The point of this clip, for those who are confused, is to show how the military covered their tracks so people don't ask questions. It's just an tragic accident, as opposed to the military bombing their own people.

@Wolfeywolf16 no you see they thought since they were in the town that got infected hey had to do the same with this town and when it said chemical spill that would be the excuse to get ride of the new town so really the main characters should just kill there self because using the satelites every town they go go into the same will happen so the main characters are gonna die or get LOTS of people killed O.o

I hate it when movie do stuff like this. It's like yay! the characters lived! Then you find out this happens and it's like why did I watch the movie if noone lives?

@Tomboy044 - it's the actual ABC affiliate in Cedar Rapids, IA....KCRG 9 - they did it for a sense of realism because the satellites showed since the sherriff and his wife made it .....they had brought the virus with them.
