NO H8 Dance Performance 2012 (Anti-Bullying/Anti-Discrimination)

The sudden increase in suicide among young children, especially gay youth, being bullied at school was my main inspiration for creating this dance. I wanted to create a dance piece that brought awareness to the labels that society places upon individuals. I was inspired by the NOH8 campaign and it's efforts to draw attention to such issues. I hope that this dance can inspire and create conversations about this issue and in turn help promote a positive and peaceful change.
