That's not correct. Who's Next has been produced by the band and Glyn Johns, who was also the chief engineer on The Clash's Combat Rock.
Guy Stevens influenced The Who and many other UK bands such as the Small Faces and the Stones. He was a fine connoisseur of the American R&B and Soul music (John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, etc.) and was involved in different roles with many UK bands such as Procol Harum, Spooky Tooth, Free and Mott The Hoople as well as with The Clash.
