  • Hi Irene, I must accept that after watching some of your videos I became a fan of yours, I am a newbe with just 1000 miles on my bike, a ninja 250r (I certainly belelieve that you should start with baby steps when riding), and I was wondering if you could give advise in this matter, In an accident like yours, what would be the proper position of the pilot when your reach the point when the crash is inevitable. Is there any technique for falling?

    Thanks

  • @2DMGOOD4U If is any technique for falling, for sure I don´t know it. Because I always ended with broken bones LOL Most the time you have just a millisecond of time from the moment that you know you will crash to the moment you crash. You most need to have some type of super power to be able to perform some techique ;-)

    Take care my friend!

    Irene

  • my first bike was a brand new kawasaki^^ 600cc

  • my advice is to read: "Twist of the wrist 2" a book by K. Code; i crashed 2 times in less than a month and reading that book helped me find out my errors!

  • My first bike was a 1993 Kawasaki ZZR 250cc, then after 1 year i brought a 2004 Kawasaki Ninja 636 and had an EVO take me up the ass after 2 weeks, then i jgot an 2001 Yamaha r6, had that for 8 months then a van pulled out in front of me, so now ive got a 2003 GSX-R 1000 K3, no crash.

My best tip is WEAR YOUR GEAR!!!

  • My first bike was bmx :)

  • My first bike was a Z1000 and still is :)) never crashed it :P

  • what about girls? i m 21, not exp. at all ( i m a car driver ) but always found my self fascinated by motors. not to mention all my friends drive motors, like u and your friends irene. they give me suggestions but want also your opinion. which one to buy? thank you.

  • 1st tip don't use regular car oil in your bike

  • i started with a 50cc scooter because i was 16 and that was all i could get and now i've moved up to a 125cc (honda cg125). it's a great beginner bike because it's bloody indestructable, when i was learning the gears i fucked with the gearbox soo much but it still runs perfectly and it only cost me £1200 $1800 or so. i would definitley advise gradually building up to bigger bikes because i havn't crashed yet and i think if i had started with a 500cc i would have done.

  • I think people should buy the bike that they want. I have 0 experiences and I just purchased a new Triumph Rocket Roadster 2300cc. It's the bike that I wanted and it took me 1 hour only to get used to it. In one week, I put 250 miles on it. It is a very powerful and heavy bike but I don't struggle with it because I ride smooth and I am always careful no matter what.

BTY Irene, I like your video on how to do the Oil change. It was very instructive.

  • My first bike was a R1. Because of the advice of people like Irene, I took it very slow respecting the power of the bike until i got confortable. My only recomendation is get whatever you like. If you buy something you dont you wont care. Second, remember, its only your life so be very responsible on everything you do. Ride Safe god bless!!!!

  • Irene, you are 'so' right... my boyfriend has been riding bikes for 25 years. He's had, I think, 9 bikes in his lifetime... he's a great rider and it is one of his biggest upsets to see the young guys go out and buy the powerful bikes... they can't handle them. It also makes me so mad, I saw two young guys on the heavy duty sport bikes last summer, wearing jackets and jeans, but they carried their girlfriends wearing shorts and strapped summer shirts... god help them if they fall.

  • @turbinefuoco The biker bible! If you understand how to an why you do things with your bike its no problem with a tuned 300 or 400hk bike. if your stupid enough to drive faster than your skill level by making easy errors you will fall even on a 50cc bike or even a mountain bike with pedal power.

  • You are very beautiful and give awesome feedback! Wish we could ride together
