I wanna know if the cheating actually speeds up the process, since you're only cutting a quarter.

@DLPanda Is it faster? No, not really. It's just a good way to get an even dice without some of the stuff that many people find scary or off putting about the classic technique. It's also a great method if you just need a quarter of an onion's worth of dice.
