Blizzard 2010Feb - Custom Headrest Camera Mount: First Drive

On the way home from work, just as the snow started to pick up during the big blizzard of February 2010 in Northern Virginia.

Figured this was the perfect time to try out the custom-made headrest mount i got for Christmas. Easy to clamp onto the headrest posts, and position the camera. Obviously there's something in the camera that's rattling the whole time.

Realized that my headlights didn't seem to be working, i pulled over to brush them off because they were covered with snow.

i want a gti so bad and a, stuck between this and a nissan murano..i live on a relatively steep hill and it is snowing as we speak, i'm in pensylvania. does gti have enough traction to make it up the hill with snow or would u suggest the AWD nissan murano ?

Tires are THE most important part of any car. I just put winter tires on my GTI this morning. Before that i had max performance summer tires on, which were great as long as the temperature wasn't below freezing.

I did have trouble on hills earlier this winter on snow and ice because i was on those near-bald summer tires.

I think AWD is great, but it's not a fix-all. With bad/inappropriate tires, you'll be spinning all 4 instead of just 2.

A crossover like the Murano has more clearance.
