he is not racist, the problem is that the pilot doesn't speak english...
-
I disagree. This controller is extremely busy too. It is not his problem that they can't converse properly in English. That is an ICAO requirement. Misunderstandings like this could cause incidents and endanger lives. Yes he could have been a bit harsh toned, but to say he was a racist is a gross overstatement.

@BHFJohnny (continuing)
but I incine the controller.Honestly English is easy language, maybe the easiest to learn - so it is the international language and in a job like pilot you must know it well.
-
Yes, well about the English. If you're from English speaking country it's soo easy to say everyone should speak English. It's like I said everyone should speak Czech how about that? :-) (I'm Czech btw.)
BUT
If you're a pilot OMG you must understand the language even backwards. And in my opinion that's a little China's problem. A bilion people speak Chinese so why to learn English? And why to learn to WRITE English - this is where the real problem comes.
So I quite understand both sides on video.

i thought chinese study their ass off 4 english don't they?
-
Jaden Smith was on that plane
-
@Adriel017 are you inboard this flight?
-
knowing english is a requirement to become a pilot. apparently not everyone is compatible with that requirement.
-
pilots should learn english...or clean aircraft toilets! that is a serios danger for air traffic!
-
lol. No! That was a question! Have the ramp people cleared you to the gate? If i were the controller, i really would have been pissed trying to communicate with this one aircraft. Working at JFK is an extreme challenge. There are more than 10 planes in need of ATC help...
