  • Another example of why CNBC is ahead of the competition. Fox Business news stores their video in Cheney's closet on non-fireproof Jaz drive cartridges

  • @WatchmenDrManhattan No. $50 for Lion Server comes with Xsan. Go get SAN software for $50, but you don't even know what that means.

  • @macprorocks you obviously are some ass hole how just wants to sound smart even white the software its still way cheaper

  • @WatchmenDrManhattan No, not really. Do you even know what CALs are? You have to buy software to of with your server you idiot.

  • 1) its a discontinued product for a reason

    2) only the OS is cheaper because of unlimited clients

    3) not scalable at all

  • price, scalability..... it is very obvious that you are mac fan boy you have no idea about servers, whit the price you spend on a xserver you could at least buy twice or more servers white the same performance or even better.

This comment is funny for a variety of reasons.

Yeah I perked up when they asked him that and thought this will be interesting.

All sounded like bullshit then he lets slip "I'm a mac guy" really nothing more needed to be said.

  • Why bother which this when you can get cheaper hardware from anyone else and run Redhat?

  • Can someone explain what a graphics storage server is? Isn't that kind of .. I don't know, wrong? A server stores all kinds of data, including graphics. Or do they have different servers for different data?

  • @guruhhhh1 Actually Microsoft long ago did a test against Apache. They never could beat it.
