Double set squat with 285 on the bar. Blue bands wraped 3 times at bottom and 30 lbs of chains on each side!

  • Just additional resistance... Just adds to the speed training. Nothing like two big rubber bands trying to pull you to the floor. Then throw on weights and chain! Love Powerlifting!

  • okay, i get it now. deffinatly has it's purpose. what about bands? what are those for?

  • Well.... as you go down the chains pile up on the floor and deload weight so the bar gets lighter. But on the way up the chains unpile off the floor and makes you drive up harder and faster because the bar gets heavier. Its a speed drill

  • what's the point of putting chains on the bar?
