Peter Green Fleetwood Mac "Like it This Way"

Killer dual lead guitar that rivals Allman and Betts, Powell and Turner....Green is almost telepathic in his contrapoint of Danny Kirwans main riffs.

It's pretty amazing that the original FM recorded so many great songs in such a short period of time - less then 3 years. Just think what more they could have done if Green hadn't decided to leave. Kirwan and Green - what a combination! Both great guitarists, singers and writers, both with their own unique styles. Sure is nice having so much of this stuff available on YouTube. Thanks to everyone who posts these songs/videos!

almost a Brit Allman Brothers, or was it vice versa??? Wasn't Kirwan a student of Green's that Pete thought well of & brought in?

FM came before the Allmans - started out in late 67. Kirwan played in a band called Boilerhouse that played in some of the same shows as FM, that's how Green knew about him. Don't know if he was really a 'student' of his up to that point - could be. Kirwan wasn't in the band for the first year or so, but what an addition he made. Spencer was good in his own right, but pretty limited creativity-wise (in my opinion).

Couldn't agree more. Man, Danny plays intensely. No wonder he was so good. He and Peter Green were one of the greatest guitar teams ever.
