@robhoneycutt Correct. The saturation vapor pressure of air increases exponentially with temperature increases. This is a simple, verifiable fact.
-
@robhoneycutt Ty for admitting that like the chest avatared globaling warming talibanist also admitted growing and receding glaciers have to do with precipitation rates not with global warming. They are just doing what they have been doing for countless ages, growing and receding
-
@DaveGibbagglers Precipitation rates DO have to do with global warming. Warmer air holds more moisture.
-
@DaveGibbagglers Yes, glaciers advance and recede and have done so for eons. No one contradicts that. But each time there is an advance or retreat there is a mechanism for the change. That chance today is the increased concentrations of atmospheric CO2 produced through the burning of fossil fuels.

@robhoneycutt What I get from your comment is that you are back up the chest avatared global warming talibanist, that growing and receding glaciers have nothing to do with global warming, but with precipitation rates. More prcipitation more glaciers, less precipitation, receding glaciers llike they have been doing. Thanks for that honey.

@robhoneycutt One of the Global Warming talibanists said the growing and receding glaciers has to do with precipitation rates, not with global warming which means this talibanist spoke the truth for a change. Growing and receding glaciers have nothing to do with global warming, they are doing what they have been doing for countless ages

@DaveGibbagglers Greenland is a good example to look at. There is more accumulation at the ice sheet summit but also increased ablation at the face of all the glaciers. There is still a total measured LOSS of ice on Greenland even though there is accumulation at the summit. Same plays out with other glaciers but if the ablation rate of a specific glacier is low then that glacier will see more accumulation than melt. But again, these are very rare relative to the total number of glaciers.

@DaveGibbagglers What I get from your comment is that you don't understand the point. A few growing glaciers is not a sign that things are okay. The few glaciers that are growing are doing so because of increased snow accumulation. That accumulation is a function of there being 4% more moisture in the air today than 30 years ago. Warmer winters and more moisture resulting in heavier snowfalls has long been a signal of climate change.
@js111410 Youre an idiot.Read any science book, and you'll see that the Greenhouse effect is a scientific fact.People like you are part of the problem.
